ABOUT NICK

For me this all began when I was a child. At the age of about 10, I became conscious of a deep seated desire to find meaning and purpose in life; to understand the very nature of my existence, but it was not until adulthood that I truly started to search for a way to know and experience life truly and deeply. In doing this I have explored various teachings and practices, including studying the widely available Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) models and qualifying as a certified Life Coach. It then became more glaringly obvious to me

As a practitioner of meditation for well over 20 years I am keenly aware of the importance of nurturing my inner life, to offset stress and busy-ness with relaxation and recharging.
Now there are many ways to do this and some fine options to choose from, but for me I wanted a practice that was founded on sound well-tested and established processes, which were structured to build my practice to a level that would optimise my life experience.

This was great,What I was looking for was simply to live more fully, to be alive to my own sense of being, to find my own self-worth and live to my fullest potential. So I kept searching, and in early 2017 I came across Zenways. What stood out for me was how Zenways combined modern psychological processes from the West with centuries old traditions from the East, in building inner strength, resilience, fulfilment and optimised human function. This was what I was looking for. For the years prior to this I practiced various meditation techniques with fluctuating degrees of success but since engaging in the Zenways training my life has moved forward in leaps and bounds and I haven’t looked back since.
It is no exaggeration to say that these teachings have made a profound difference to my life and how I see myself, my relationships and my overall happiness. I have benefited hugely from my own daily meditation and mindfulness practices, the many intensive Zen retreats I have taken part in, as well as meditating through the night and the training programme that has led me to running this course. My own training is ongoing as there is no end to the possibilities of personal growth and development, so more than anything I want to share with you what I have learnt and help you to live a more enhanced life. So, read on to see how we can begin the process of transforming your life.
